International Religious Freedom Day

Join us as we commemorate the 22nd anniversary of the landmark legislation enacted in 1998 that made promoting and defending international religious freedom a specific focus of U.S. foreign policy.

The International Religious Freedom Act (IRF Act) seeks to defend the more than 80 percent of the world’s population who are living under severe restrictions on religious freedom.
