About Us
When we choose humanity, we choose a better future for everyone.
Mission and History
Our goal is to work with disadvantaged peoples from the Uigher, Tibetan, and Fulan Gong communities. These groups have suffered countless decades of human rights abuses and religious discrimination. No one should have to suffer as these communities have simply because of what they choose to have faith in. Choose Humanity is dedicated to working with these newcomers to Canada and welcoming them to this great country we are lucky enough to call home.
We Choose Humanity provides a variety of services and supports for these communities as they adjust to their new lives in Canada. We are proud to support active healing with these traumatized communities. By engaging with these communities, we are teaching them to use their resilience while developing ways to help them heal from the traumas they have suffered. Working to help those communities who have fled human rights abuses and settled in Canada—a safe place to live and call home. This is where We Choose Humanity comes in. We believe that everyone should be freely allowed to practice what they believe. Making a difference starts with making a choice.
If we could only help just one single individual to make the right choice, then all of our efforts would have been worth it.
